Whether providing preventive care, performing complex procedures, or restoring a patient’s smile, Dr. Neema Emile Mehrganpour finds deep fulfillment in contributing to patients’ health in such a meaningful way. Witnessing the transformation in a patient’s confidence and quality of life after treatment is one of the most rewarding aspects of his profession, as is creating a comfortable and friendly environment where patients feel heard and supported throughout their dental journey.
A longtime resident of Ambler, PA, Dr. Emile graduated from Germantown Academy before earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muhlenberg College in Allentown and a Master of Business Management from Lehigh University in Bethlehem. Staying close to family, Dr. Emile attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he earned a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry with honors and was a member of the Periodontics Honors program. During dental school, Dr. Emile received the Dr. Morris Braden Award in Periodontics and the Irwin Smigel Scholarship for aesthetic dentistry, encouraging his particular interest in cosmetic dentistry.
Committed to continuous learning and professional growth, Dr. Emile regularly attends dental conferences and workshops to stay at the forefront of advancements in oral care. As an active participant in continuing education through Spear Dental and the Commonwealth Advanced Dental Study Club, Dr. Emile refines his skills, stays informed about new procedures, and ensures patients receive the highest level of care. This dedication to ongoing education enhances his patients’ experience by combining expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Emile enjoys exploring Philadelphia’s diverse neighborhoods and discovering new restaurants as a true foodie. Passionate about health and fitness, he can often be found running along the Schuylkill River Trail when the weather allows. Dr. Emile also values time with family, which includes his parents, younger brother, and two beautiful dobermans.
